World Press Freedom Index: The U.S. Isn’t As Free As We Hoped

0

(00:00) The United States now ranks 32nd in the world in press freedom (between Surinam and Lithuania) according to “Reporters without Borders” – the largest international organization of investigative journalists in the world. Whistleblowers are being punished more under this President than in all of American history. A reporter sits in jail in Texas just for investigating the relationship between private NSA contractors and our government. A German journalist can’t even fly into the U.S. because he was critical of U.S. spying on Germany. Listen to the whole story about the fight to save The United States’ 1st Amendment to the Constitution.

Profile photo of Tim Danahey

The Tim Danahey Show started in July, 2010 at internet station Castle Rock Radio. It started as a one-day-per week endeavor and quickly grew to five days per week. The show discusses economics, government, social issues, history, and non-fiction books in a magazine format featuring in-depth conversations with guests. Politics and inflammatory conversations are discouraged as they are divisive and counter-productive. Instead, the show seeks under-reported topics and delves into facts, different perspectives, and ramifications of each perspective.
