Is Vic Meyers the New Voice Colorado’s 4th District Needs in Congress?

Everybody says they’re sick of Congress but they keep electing the same old faces and policies. Could Vic Meyers represent something very different in Colorado’s 4th Congressional District? He stands for ranchers, farmers, and struggling small towns. He wants to stop subsidizing the big corporations, protecting bank speculation, and outsourcing U.S. jobs with secret trade policies. He says Social Security is a contract with the American people and government needs to honor it. He says it’s time to invest in America’s infrastructure and green energy. Doing so would create rural jobs and economic development. The problem is: he’s a Democrat running in a district that keeps voting for the same Republicans who control Congress. Is it time for a new direction in America? Listen to Vic Meyers and decide for yourself.

The Tim Danahey Show started in July, 2010 at internet station Castle Rock Radio. It started as a one-day-per week endeavor and quickly grew to five days per week. The show discusses economics, government, social issues, history, and non-fiction books in a magazine format featuring in-depth conversations with guests. Politics and inflammatory conversations are discouraged as they are divisive and counter-productive. Instead, the show seeks under-reported topics and delves into facts, different perspectives, and ramifications of each perspective.
